Simply Piano: Learn Piano Fast App Reviews

Simply Awful.

Only get if your willing to pay monthly. If you dont pay, you get your fair (not fair) share of one course, and 4to 5 songs. Now doesnt that sound like a blast? Even better, if youve already been playing for a while, it makes you start all the way over! Awesome, right? Not. It was NOT awesome. I recommend getting yousician.

Very basic, but

Was hoping for much harder content, but good for someone looking for basics. To the people complaining. Middle C is the same note no matter what. If you dont have a full keyboard it will likely be off to the left a bit and not smack in the middle. Experiment to find it. To people complaining about the cost, the annual cost is similar to what youd pay for 2-3 sessions with a teacher.so this seems well worth it.

Perfect for me.

So far I love this app. Im really learning the notes. Im 41 and have always wanted to learn the piano.

Terrible at chord recognition

Please allow users to turn off the ability to fail parts of lessons. I am hitting the correct chords and it keeps failing me and I cant proceed. I just want to keep playing because the lessons are great otherwise.

Good as far as Im concerned

Meh

Better than a tutor!

This a great app! It really helps me and my sisters age 8 & 14 we all play great! Even less than a year!

Amazing, super fun way to REALLY learn piano

There are a lot of apps that say they help you learn but they just let you play some simple tunes and then youre stuck. Simply Piano is super fun AND actually helps you learn so you can play real songs, not just some gimmies in the app. And its full of cool songs like Say Something and Safe & Sound. Get it!

Amazing! Whole family is learning

Bought a piano for my daughters to learn how to play, but after finding this app, me and the wife are learning to play as well! Excellent way to teach through playing games!

Piano

Loved it

❤️❤️❤️

Helps me learn the basic things about piano!

Freezes

I love the app, but every time I try to log in it freezes. it wont let me type anything or go back and the music keeps playing. I close the app and try again but it still happens. and also I remember when everything was free and I can learn as fast as I want but now I have to pay just to keep going. its not right.

No second part yet

Good app to learn on like guitar hero kind of but actually teaches you only wish they would release the second part soon

Excellent.

Really fun

Unbelievable

Im taking voice lessons and was looking for a method to sight read faster. This coupled with the advantage (bonus) of learning the piano has me buying a subscription one day in. Ive never seen a more engaging entryway into music. Very easy to follow. Go developers!

Download now! Excellent approach!

I have used and subscribed to Piano Maestro from JoyTunes before Simply Piano, but now I am using this most. The learning approach is very streamlined and improved over Piano Maestro (which has more content when you subscribe, though). What is extremely helpful to me is that the app will just back up a couple of seconds in a piece when you make mistakes and re-run the part. This is a lot more efficient than going through a whole piece including the parts where you made no errors. I can not stress enough how good this feature is, you need to try it. Now, when backing up does not help, it switches to "learning mode", slow, waiting for you to hit the right note and with metronome! Just brilliant! In fact, this is what my piano teacher does: telling me to go even slower and tapping the rhythm along... The selected songs are great as well and there are more coming on in a steady pace. Using the app with a digital piano and MIDI over USB, but it also works with acoustic pianos using the microphone. I try to keep up with all the piano learning apps in the AppStore and I am pretty sure this is now the best one.

Exceptional

This is really helping me figure out playing the piano!! I highly recommend this!

Im 28 and learning piano!

This is great!

Nice app for beginners

Very easy to follow!

Good for staff notation

I am finding this a fairly easy and fun way to learn the staff notation… Something I have struggled with before.

AMAZING

This app teaches you the basics of piano and now I know how to do the basics but one problem is that after it teaches you the basics you have to pay for the rest ☹️
