I very much like the speed and the diversity

This is great, it honestly does help.

Its a great app for learning, I suggest you buy the $30 courses. However, it is a pain, due to a new membership feature which makes you pay monthly for new courses.

As an armature trumpeter, I always want to pick up some piano. This is a fun place to start without having to set up formal instructions. At to start.

The app is obviously lacking in content in comparison to piano maestro, but overall what is there is much better than piano maestro in terms of pace, UI, and simplicity along with accessibility. I particularly appreciate the pace at which the lessons go. Its far better paced than piano maestro, which had me randomly overwhelmed with a piece that is suddenly a lot more difficult then what you would expect at the current level. The engine for recognizing sound is solid, probably almost as good as it can get with the technology. Itd be great if I was proven wrong though! One small complaint is that the extra practice function doesnt seem to provide music that is at the difficulty of your current level. It simply gives you an underwhelming set of exercises that are not hard and of very little use for a more experienced reader and player that hopes for something that will really boost their abilities. Besides that good job, Ill be looking forward to more updates.

This app is great! But, I paid for the premium version to get full access. That was fine until they changed over to a subscription model for any new lessons. And the only way to get credit for the previous premium purchase was to buy a full year subscription for $49.95. Then they only added two more lessons. It would be fine if the subscription to their other services carried over to this one -- I am already paying $49.95/yr on the iPad for their full service. But I really like the lessons and simplicity of this version more. Plus it works great on the go.

This is the best app ever.

There are a lot of apps that say they help you learn but they just let you play some simple tunes and then youre stuck. Simply Piano is super fun AND actually helps you learn so you can play real songs, not just some gimmies in the app. And its full of cool songs like Say Something and Safe & Sound. Get it!

This is a very helpful app. Its actually teaching me to play the piano in a fun and easy way for me. I absolutely recommend it for those wanting to learn and not get bored while at it.
