This app is thoroughly impressive. These tutorials are paced well and help guide through the learning process.
I started knowing nothing and a week later i have learned so much this app is actually magical
Great app, but every time I click on whatever lesson is after reminder, it doesnt access the lesson, even though I am a premium member.
I find the hardest thing is learning something new when I havent mastered the prior steps
This app is really great. I am learning piano for the first time in my 40s and cant believe how far I have come with this app in just a couple of weeks. I have a digital piano so connected my iPad directly to it and have no issues with note recognition. The immediate feedback when you make a mistake is invaluable. The lessons are fun with clear and logical progression and rather than just learning to play certain songs, I am actually learning piano and reading sheet music. There are a few features I feel are missing, but the developers have a Facebook page which they are very responsive on, so I have made my suggestions directly and received prompt and encouraging answers. and also they have a piano teacher on the page.so if you do get stuck or need advice she is there to help talk you through your issue. I am very happy with my subscription. My two children (aged 9/10) are also learning through the app.
In the past Ive used the same method for having the mic detect what Im playing and it worked but suddenly it doesnt want to work anymore. Almost every note is going red, Ive got the volume as low as it can go so I can still hear the music and Ive got the piano at a good volume too so I dont know what happened.
This is amazing all I knew was that the piano made noise and now with just 45 mins on this app I know a song composed by Beethoven! This shocked me ! No app can beat this one!
Ive been teaching myself to play the piano for about four years using books to learn to read music and then basic sheet music to teach myself to several Bach Preludes and some easy Bergmueller. This summer I discovered the various piano tutor apps which I had been skeptical of. I tried a number of them but settled on Simply Piano. The interface is excellent and I really appreciate that it uses a standard finger numbering system rather than a color coded system like Yousician. I started at the beginning lessons, which are easier than my self taught skill so far, but doing so has drastically improved my sight reading skill. There was a lesson or two where the app was not recognizing the notes I was striking, but I sent an email to their tech support and they responded the next day with advice that solved my problem. I do not have the time or the money for weekly piano lessons, but for the time being I am very happy with the value this app provides for the price.
Awesome! I am playing piano after a few weeks. I love it!!
I am loving this app! It is a fun easy way to learn to play. Makes learning fast, practicing fun and not work at all! Love love love it!
This app is amazing, or at least the first lesson is. Expecting us to pay $90 for a year access is nothing short of outrageous. Why should I pay so much for temporary access? If you unlocked with a per lesson fee (say $5-10) that unlocks for good I would pay it in a heartbeat. But to expect me to give you so much and then lose it if I choose not to renew is ridiculous. Rethink your cost-scale, this isnt viable and you would make more money if you were reasonable.
Excellent teaching. I like learning how to play. I am 52 and it is very helpful!!!
Best teacher Ive found yet
Definitely worth the money for the Premium membership!!! I love that this app shows you how to actually LEARN to play the piano, not just to memorize keys or learn a song. It teaches you the notes on the staff & all of the music basics that beginners need, without being boring. Great song choices for the practices in the lessons too! The lessons flow in a great way that allow you to fully learn before going on, but still not so repetitive that it loses your attention. I tried loads of other apps & this one is by far my favorite.
Its a great app to learn your beginner notes but if you want to take it farther this app is not right for you. If has outrageous costs for its intermediate and advanced lessons.
I have a piano keyboard for beginners and it have like 61 keys and I think its made by a company "shengle" or smth like that but when i play for example the middle c the app show me like iam playing another note
I just started learning piano at school in a hybrid class only taken 2 classes and this app has covered more than my class in less time!!!
Love it so much, so easy for me to pick up and play
Best thing about this program is its fun and Ive been trying to learn for a while now but dont have the time to commit everyday practice. I like that I can review where I left off and continue to the next lesson. The practice part is what I like the most it slows it down so you see your mistakes and this program is good for sight reading too. Thank you and keep up the good work.
